Overview

Sessions will deal with topics such as Internet Governance beyond the Nation State, Cyber Regulation, Convergence of Telecommunications, PC and Broadcast; Competition; Deregulation; Free Speech vs. Defamation/Hate Speech, Privacy vs. Security; Consumer Protection, Cryptography, Domain Name, Open Source, Patents, Copyright, Trademarks, Cybercrime and Terrorism, E-Commerce, Legal Liability and e-Transactions, Property and Piracy, Telemarketing Fraud et. al. 
The Center will certify up 1.8 CLE credits (based on 50-min hours) and/or 1.5 CLE/CPD (based on 60-min hours) per 90-min session attended. 
The symposium starts Sunday, 26 October at 6.00 p.m. with cocktails and dinner. Sessions will run at McGill University all day Monday and at the Mont Royal Hotel all day Tuesday and Wednesday morning. 
Fees includes three nights luxury accommodation, breakfasts, working lunches, opening and closing dinners, travel insurance, CLE/CPD accreditation, and materials (for delegates and faculty).
